Officially Moved

The past two and a half weeks have flown by!  I have spent my days unpacking and setting up our apartment, exploring my new town, and interviewing for jobs.  I have also been taking steps to relaunch Chloe and Isabel by Keya in Arkansas.  Tonight our summer line launches and I couldn't be more thrilled!  I recently started a new website for the jewelry, www.southern-styles.com, and I will be purchasing business cards with my new website soon. I am just so picky!

Two Days

I have two days left in Illinois!  Today will be spent packing and having dinner with my dad, tomorrow I will finish up my last project for school and meet a good friend for lunch before heading to my last night of my Bachelor's program, and Thursday morning I will hit the road!  I can't wait to join my husband in Arkansas and begin the rest of our lives!

Chloe + Isabel news...I got my bottle of Jardins Du Midi this week and it is awesome!  I have always worn Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture and I really only bought Jardins Du Midi for my display table for people to sample, but I fell in love with it as soon as I smelled it and it it now my daily go to!

Description for Jardins Du Midi:

Discover Jardins du Midi, a fragrance inspired by a midday, sunlit walk through the lush orchards of the South of France.
Notes: Peach Nectar, Bergamot, Jasmine Sambac, White Violet, Vanilla Absolute.

Big Changes

It has been a while since I posted an update, but things have been pretty hectic around here!  Three weeks ago Jason drove to Arkansas on a Wednesday for a job interview, Thursday morning he got a phone call with a job offer and accepted the job, Thursday afternoon I flew to Tulsa and Jason drove two hours to pick me up, and then we spent all day Friday searching for a place to live.  On Saturday we drove back to Illinois and started preparing for  our big move!  Last weekend we finished packing and with the help of our friends loaded up our moving truck and moved to Arkansas.  Monday we signed a lease and 45 minutes later our movers arrived to unload the truck.  We spent the entire week trying to get out new home set up.  Last night we drove back to Illinois and I turned in my resignation letter.  This morning we went out for brunch and said our goodbyes and Jason hit the road to head back to Arkansas.

Jason will start his new job on Monday morning and I will stay in Illinois long enough to finish school and then I will be joining him in Arkansas.  We will only be apart for 1 month and 3 days, but so far it has been 2 1/2 hours and I already miss him more than anything!  I am trying to stay positive, because I know it could be much worse, but for us this was a shock.  I thought it was hard when he worked overnight once or twice a quarter!

Pinterest Friday's

Just a few of my favorite pins from the last week.  I hope you enjoy and be sure to check out my Pinterest for more ideas!

Unfortunately this pin was not linked to anything, but I think this would be a great DIY. I plan on making one of these for our house, so I will be sure to take pictures and make a post with a few small projects that are on my todo list.

I just love this photo wall! Joi at Nuestra Vida Dulce always has the best decorating ideas.

Another photo gallery pin,  I just love this idea and can't wait to incorporate one of these into our future home!

Coffee bar.  If you haven't caught on I have spent the last week stumbling across ideas for our future home.  I think this is a great idea and those closest to me know how much I love my coffee cups and my Keurig!
Mason jars = love!  My wedding center pieces were mason jars and I also use them for home decor.  Pinterest has been a great place for people to find all sorts of uses for mason jars now, including this light that I just adore!

One Step Closer...

I am one step closer...Today was my last first day of a new semester.  I have longed to be done and now I am in my last semester wondering where the time went!  I am so happy knowing that this is my last semester, but I am also getting a little nervous...I already told myself and all of you that my goal was to not procrastinate this year, here is to hoping I can stay on top of everything!

I will make 2014 count by...

Happy, happy New Year my friends.  I hope that you had a fabulous, sparkly, and safe New Years Eve!

Truth be told, we didn't even go out this year!  We decided to have a casual night in and enjoy our first New Years Eve as newlyweds home together.

2013 was a great year, I started working for Chloe & Isabel, got a promotion in my day job, was one year closer to completing my degree in Business Management, and married the love of my life!  I will make 2014 count by completing my degree, raising my business goals for both Chloe & Isabel and my day job, and moving into my first home with Jason.

I am a huge procrastinator!  I understand this about myself and I always say I want to do better, in 2014 I am going to be better about not putting things off.  Instead of saying I don't have time I want to better organize my time.

This year will be the year that Jason and I learn a lot about ourselves and our relationship while standing on our own two feet and I couldn't be more excited.

Do you make New Years resolutions or goals?  If so, I would love to hear them!  2013 was so good to us, but we are really looking forward to all that 2014 brings!

Linking up with one of my favorite blogs, Little Baby Garvin!
